3.18 Automatic Threshold
Some functions (Brightness, Contrast, white level, gamma etc.) are automatically set
in accordance with the scanning resolution.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
•
Automatic Threshold is available with Binary Mode.
•
Automatic Threshold is not available with Halftone (dither), Sub Area, Image
Emphasis, White Level From Paper, Gamma, Automatic Separation and Dynamic
Threshold.
ISIS setting method

For both Simplex and Duplex modes, it is necessary to set the [Brightness]
function to Automatic.

Click the [Automatic Threshold] radio button.

Select the mode that is best suited for the application from list box.
Mode 1:
Suitable for dark document.
Mode 2:
Suitable for normal document.
Mode 3:
Suitable for light document.
