The following table describes the parameters for the
Service Provider
window and their
definitions:
Field Name
Description
Service Provider List
You may select your service provider during configuration
by using the list box provided. When a service provider is
selected from this dynamic list, the respective parameters
are automatically displayed. A DEFAULT set of parameters
is provided for every new service provider added. This can
be edited accordingly. You may define new service
providers and add them manually. An existing service
provider can be edited or even deleted.
New Service Provider
New Service Provider
is a text-field where you may enter
the name of the new service provider to be added (up to 31
characters), or to rename an existing service provider. The
service provider edited will be the one chosen from the
Service Provider To Use
field under the
ATA Configuration
page.
Registration Interval (secs)
This parameter specifies the registration expiry interval in
seconds. After the interval period expires, re-registration is
required for the registration packet.
Registrar Address
This parameter gives the IP address of the registrar with
which the OPEN 812L VoIP ATA router must register in
order to make VoIP calls.
Proxy Address
This parameter is the IP address of the SIP proxy server.
OutboundProxy Address
This parameter is the IP address of the Outbound proxy
server. This is useful in instances where the OPEN 812L
VoIP ATA router is behind a NAT.
MWI Server Address
This parameter is the IP address of the MWI server. MWI
stands for Message Waiting Indicator.
This is an optional
field.
MWI Subscription Refresh
Interval (in secs)
This parameter specifies the MWI Subscription Refresh
interval in seconds.
Dial Plan String
This parameter defines the advanced telephony features.
Authentication Method
This parameter indicates the authentication method used.
Currently, only MD5 is being supported. MD5 is a widely
used crytopgraphic hash function with a 128-bit hash value.
It is an Internet standard (RFC 1321) that has been
employed in a wide variety of security applications, and is
also commonly used to check the integrity of files.
Registrar Port
This parameter informs the port of the registrar on which it
will listen for Registrar requests from the OPEN 812L VoIP
ATA router.
