Troubleshooting
The OneTouch® Verio™Pro+ Meter displays messages when there are problems with the test strip, or with
the meter. Improper use may cause an inaccurate result without producing an error message.
NOTE:
If the meter is on but does not operate (locks-up), contact Customer Service and/or LifeScan®
sales representative.

What it means for Blood and Control Solution Testing
Meter is too hot (above 44°C) to work correctly.
What to do for Blood and Control Solution Testing
Move the meter and test strips to a cooler area. Insert a new test strip when the
meter and test strips are within the operating temperature range (6°C-44°C). If you
do not get another “Temperature too high” message, you can proceed with testing.
If the error message continues to appear 30 minutes after moving to a cooler area,
contact Customer Service and/or LifeScan® sales representative.
