Checking the meter with control solution
OneTouch® Verio™ Control Solution is used to check that the meter and test strips are working together
properly and the test is performed correctly. Control solution is available separately. Follow your
institution’s procedure for obtaining control solution.
NOTE:
•
Use only OneTouch® Verio™ Control Solution (Low, Mid, or High) with the OneTouch® Verio™Pro+
Meter. Refer to the control solution vial label when tagging control solution test results to be sure the
result is tagged correctly (see page 29).
• Follow your institution’s policy and procedure guidelines for when to perform a control solution test.
• Make sure the meter, test strips and control solution are at about the same temperature before testing.
The OneTouch® Verio™Pro+ Blood Glucose Monitoring System cannot be used outside the operating
temperature range (6°C-44°C).
• Keep control solution in a dry place below 30°C.
Do Not refrigerate.
