Changing the Display Language (English/Japanese)

7. Press either “1” or “2.”

Note Once the connections have been completed, setting of the connected device

can be performed using the following operations when changing the display lan-
guage between English and Japanese:

•

Turning ON the power supply for the PC while pressing the CLR Key.

•

Connecting the Teaching Box while pressing the CLR Key.

The setting of pin 2 will be checked and become valid only when the power to the
PC is turned ON.

To display messages in Japanese on the Teaching Box, set pin 2 of the DIP
switch on the MC Unit’s rear panel to OFF.

The default setting is ON (English.)
