FILLING UP/ELIMINATING PAPER JAMS

REMOVING JAMMED PAPER

When printing paper gets jammed and the “PAPER ERROR (XX)” message appears on the first line of the
display and “CHECK AND PRESS CLEAR” message appears on the second line, proceed as follows:

When the sheet gets jammed in the received/copied document output area.

1. Close the document holder.

2. Remove the jammed sheet.

3. Open the document holder.

When the sheet gets jammed in the paper feed area.

1. Lift the paper positioning lever

and remove the paper.

2. Remove the front cover of the

paper cassette by releasing it
and lifting it upwards.

3. Remove the jammed sheet.
