States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The purpose of the E
NERGY
S
TAR
® Program is to promote the manufacturing and marketing of
energy-efficient equipment, thereby potentially reducing combustion-related
pollution. Using the energy management features outlined below prevents
unnecessary power consumption, which helps to prevent air pollution from
electricity generating plants and saves money on your utility bills.

® Partner, Océ-Technologies B.V. has determined that
from the Océ VarioPrint 2050-70 series the Océ VarioPrint 2060 and Océ
VarioPrint 2070 meet the Energy Star® guidelines for energy efficiency. The
Océ VarioPrint 2050 has the same energy efficiency features but does not meet
the E
NERGY
S
TAR
® requirement for the low power mode.
Read the Product Safety Data Sheet in this appendix for power consumption
data.
Read the Océ VarioPrint 2050-70 Configuration and maintenance manual to
set the energy save modes.
Attention:
The Océ VarioPrint 2070 has been awarded the German Blue
Angel Eco-Label. If the low power or sleep mode default time is increased
or the sleep mode is disabled, the Océ VarioPrint 2070 no longer complies
with the requirements for this Eco-Label.
