Card Description of the functions
'Paper output' Indicates the output tray for the printed sets: 'Multi-size bin'
or 'Based on size'.
Select 'Multi-size bin' when the finisher does not support the
copy material (see ‘
Input trays, output bins and materials ’
on page 142 )
'Page
settings' The settings 'Separation sheet' and 'Appendix' enable the
paper input from more than one paper tray for one job.
Use the settings to copy a report.
If necessary, add new paper to the trays (see ‘
Add the paper ’
on page 130 ).
The 'Separation sheet' and the 'Appendix' functions show the
paper trays that are used for the paper.
The sheets of the selected trays will replace the standard
sheets, as defined by the page numbers in the function box.
The 'Page settings' function box shows the instructions
you must follow.

'Separation sheet' refers to one or more sheets in a set of
originals, for which the different paper is to be used.
■
'Appendix' refers to the first and the subsequent pages of
a set of originals, for which the different paper is to be
used.
■
'Blank page' refers to the pages in a set of originals that
must remain blank. These pages are not printed and not
charged to your user account.
