How to copy an A5 original with the glass plate

Place and align the original face down on the platen.
Use the long-edge feed direction .

Select the 'Copy' mode .
The 'Basic' section opens automatically.

Select '1-sided' in the 'Original' and 'Copy' function boxes.

Select 'No' in the 'Staple' function box.

Activate the 'Paper' section.
Make sure that the 'Paper input' card is open.

Select A5 in the 'Source' function box.

Note:
If the trays do not contain A5 paper, you can add A5 paper to tray 1 (see
‘Add the paper’ on page 130).
Note:
When the required size is not A5, you must adjust the 'Enlargement or
reduction'(see ‘Make an enlarged or reduced copy’ on page 50).

Select the number of copies.
