3.5 CONNECTING THE PRINTER TO THE PC
3.5.1 System requirements
For details about the system requirements, please refer to the documentation of the RIP software of your
choice.
3.5.2 Selecting cables
The printer is equipped with a network interface and a USB interface to connect it with a PC.
A network interface cable or an USB cable is required to connect the PC with the printer.

To connect the printer via a network interface cable, refer to “
Connecting network interface cable”
•
The USB connection is reserved for service technicians only.
3.5.3 Connecting network interface cable
Step 1 :
Switch OFF both the printer and the PC.
Step 2 :
Plug the network interface cable into the network interface connector located at the back of the
printer.
