Setting modem dip switches
Set modem dip switches using the instructions provided by the manufacturer
of the modem before you configure the modem software.
Prerequisites

Ensure the modem you want to use supports all of the required settings.
For more information, see “Modem selection” (page 141).
Procedure steps
1
Set the modem dip switches as specified in the table “Modem dip switch
settings” (page 407). The table applies to a US Robotics 56K modem as
an example of the settings you must apply.
