Radio and TV interference
The Option 11C Compact complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules in the
U.S.A. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
•
Option 11C Compact may not cause harmful interference.
•
Option 11C Compact must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
If the Meridian 1 Option 11C Compact causes interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by placing a telephone call
while monitoring, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by
the following measures:
•
Reorient the receiving TV or radio antenna where this may be done
safely.
•
To the extent possible, relocate the receiver with respect to the telephone
equipment.
If necessary, the user should consult the dealer or an experienced radio or
television technician for additional suggestions. The user may also find
helpful the booklet “How to Identify and Resolve Radio-TV Interference,”
prepared by the Federal Communications Commission. This booklet is
available from the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20402.
Information for Canada
