Installing the hard drive

To install the hard drive, follow these steps.

The mail CPU card and the hard drive

1

Remove the mail CPU card and the hard drive from their protective 
packaging.

2

Lay the card on a flat surface and place the hard drive in the bracket 
as shown in Figure 42.

3

Secure the hard drive in the bracket with the screws.

4

Connect the hard drive SCSI cable and the power cable to the 
connectors in the card.
