If desired, mount the external tape drive below and to the right of the 
cabinet, following the instructions in 

Figure 48

. It should be positioned 

so that it does not interfere with the cables that run out of the bottom 
of the Meridian Mail Compact Option cabinet. Avoid mounting the tape 
drive where it will be subjected to continuous shock or vibration.
