RAID splitting
Ensure that your system is in full working order and the RAID hardware
configuration is set up properly as described on page 176.
ATTENTION
The most important thing to verify is that the RAID
channel 1 is connected to the first hard drive (top as facing
the machine) and channel 2 is connected to the second
drive (bottom). Do that by either opening the lid and
following the cables or by removing one hard drive and
observing which drive is marked dead by the system. If the
drive matches the graphic location on the Windows
MegaRAID console, proceed with the next step.
