CallPilot
Session Trace
The Session Trace tool displays detailed information about the activity in
a user’s mailbox and the state of the message waiting indicator (MWI).
The session information includes
voice messaging
call answering
express messaging activity (messages composed and sent, or left in
a mailbox)
the number of messages played or not played at the beginning,
middle, and end of a session
messages and personal distribution lists restored into a mailbox
the last change to the MWI (turned on or off, or untouched)
This session information allows an administrator or technician to study
the state of a user’s mailbox and the MWI, and to use that information to
follow up on any user complaints. For example, a user may report that
the MWI was on, but no voice messages were in the mailbox when the
user logged on. The session information can tell the administrator why
the MWI was turned on.
