Daily Startup
1. Set the main switch to I/ON.
CAUTION: Do not operate Nordson gear pumps without material. Before
switching on the motor, ensure that the tank is filled.
2. Fill the tank if necessary.
Daily Switchoff
1. Switch off the motor(s).
2. Set the main switch to 0/OFF.
3. If necessary, secure the main switch with padlocks against unauthorized
access.
Switching Off in an Emergency
WARNING: Switch off the melter immediately in any emergency situation.
1. Set the main switch to 0/OFF.
2. After standstill and before switching the melter on again, have the
emergency situation remedied by qualified personnel.
Startup, Operation, Shutdown
The melter is equipped with a control unit by the customer. Startup,
operation and shutdown can not be described here.
Checking Pump for Leakage
After initial startup check the pump for leakage; retighten the gland bolt if
necessary.
