Step 6—Preview the frames to be scanned

Click the Preview button.  A pre-

view of the image to be scanned will

appear in the Natural and Processed

tabs to the right of the control area.

If you are using a multi-frame adapter, a preview of each of the

selected frames will be created and stored in memory.  You can

switch between frames by opening the thumbnail drawer and

clicking the frame you want to view.  Note that the more pre-

views stored, the greater the demands that will be made on

your computer’s memory.

The Scan Progress window

While scanning is in progress, the

progress window will show the op-

eration currently being performed.

The current task can be cancelled by

clicking the Stop button.

To view operations that have yet to

be performed, first click the triangle

under the progress meter, then click

the Queue tab to display the Queue

sheet listing unfinished tasks.  Tasks

can be cancelled by selecting the de-

sired operation(s) and clicking the 

icon.

Completed tasks are listed in the Log

sheet.
