Step 2—Uninstall Nikon Scan

From the Start menu, select 

Programs

Nikon Scan 3.0

Nikon Scan 3.0 Uninstall

When the message, “Are you sure you want to completely re-

move Nikon Scan 3.0 and all of its components” appears, click

Yes 

to begin deinstallation.  If any of the components used by

Nikon Scan are also used by another program, a confirmation

dialog will be displayed.  Follow the instructions in the dialog to

remove the component or leave it untouched.

Step 2—Start the installer

Before starting the Nikon Scan in-

staller, quit any other programs that

may be running, including any virus-

checking software.  Insert the Nikon

Scan 3 CD into the CD-ROM drive

and double-click the installer icon.

Depending on where you purchased your scanner, the Nikon

Scan 3 CD will contain installers for from one to four language

versions of Nikon Scan: English (EN), French (FR), German (DE),

and Spanish (ES).  Where installers for more than one language

version are available, the installers may be found in separate

folders; open the folder for the language of your choice and

double-click the installer icon.
