The Automatic Actions tab contains the following options:
Option
Thumbnail
when film is
inserted
If
Ten or fewer thumbnails
is checked,
the scanner will automatically generate
thumbnails when APS or strip film with
ten or fewer frames is inserted in a multi-
frame adapter. If
More than ten
thumbnails
is checked, the scanner will
automatically generate thumbnails when
film is inserted in an adapter that supports
more than ten frames.
Preview when
film is
inserted
If
Single image adaptor
is checked, the
scanner will automatically perform a pre-
view when a slide is inserted in the MA-20 (S)
slide-mount adapter or the optional
SF-200 (S) slide feeder. If
Multiple image
adaptor
is checked, the scanner will au-
tomatically perform a preview using user
default settings when film is inserted in a
multi-frame adapter (if no user defaults
are defined, factory defaults will be used).
Option
Description
Perform
autofocus
when focus
point is moved
If this item is checked, the scanner will
automatically perform an autofocus op-
eration when the focus point is changed
using the focus tool in the Layout Tools
palette. If it is not checked, autofocus will
only be performed when the
button is
clicked in the scan window control area.
The default option is off.
