Setting range for status-related 16-bit registers
The MSB (Most Significant Bit) in status-related 16-bit registers is pre-set as always “0”. When set
by a command, any value up to 65535 can be entered, but the MSB is always cleared to zero in the
target register. Accordingly, the response message for the query is always a value of 32767 or less.
