All steering and travel controls are directed with the left-hand control lever
(1)
only. Use the face of a clock for ori-
entation. The machine will move in the direction the lever is moved from neutral, center. Release the lever and it
will detent to neutral. Although the machine will turn and counter-turn sharply, it is best to travel through forward or
reverse gradually when turning.
NOTE:
Use the arm rest for maximum stability of controls and to reduce operator fatigue.
Straight forward drive:
• Push the control lever straight forward (12:00 position) and the machine will move forward.
Straight rearward drive:
• Pull the control lever straight rearward (6:00 position) and the machine will move rearward.
