Inspect the seat belt every
50 h
of operation. Contact your NEW HOLLAND CONSTRUCTION dealer if you need to
replace the seat belt.
Seat belt inspection and maintenance:
• Keep seat belts in good working condition.
• Make sure that the seat belt with or without shoulder
strap moves easily and smoothly, but with some re-
sistance from the retraction receptacle.
• Make sure that the seat belt retracts easily and com-
pletely into the seat belt receptacle.
• Make sure that the seat belt engages and disen-
gages easily.
• Check belts, buckles, retractors, tethers, slack
take-up system, and mounting bolts for damage and
wear. Replace all parts that have damage or wear.
• Replace belts that have cuts, tears, holes, or are
frayed.
• Make sure that the seat belt and seat belt brackets
are mounted securely. If necessary, tighten all hard-
ware.
• Clean belts only with soap solution and warm water.
Do not use bleach or dye on the belts because this
can make the belts weak.
