Login Settings
You can customize the URL that you use to log in to the gateway and you can change the
administrator password.
Change the Gateway URL
You may want to change the URL for the gateway to something more memorable.
To change the URL:
1. On a computer or wireless device that is connected to your gateway, launch a Web
browser.
2. In the address or URL field of your browser, type
http://myrouter
.
3. When prompted to log in, enter
admin
for the user name and type the password. (The
default password is
password
.)
4. Click
Settings > General > Device
.
5. In the
URL
field (in the
Homepage
section), type the new value (maximum 31 letters
and numbers).
6. Click
Submit
.
Change the admin Password
For security reasons, you should change the gateway’s admin password on a regular basis.
It is strongly recommended that you enable password recovery, so that if you forget the
password you can recover it.
Note:
If you forget the admin password and you have not enabled password recovery, you’ll
need to reset your device to its default settings and go through the device setup. (See

)
