Planning the Wireless Network
In planning your wireless network, you should review the choices to:
•
Select a wireless network mode and options that are compatible with your wireless network
devices.
•
Select a wireless security method that is appropriate for your wireless network and is
supported by your wireless network devices.
You should also select the physical placement of your DGFV338 in order to maximize the network
speed (see
“Placement for Wireless Performance” on page 1-10
).

Note:
Incorrect wireless configuration can result in significant performance degradation,
inability to wirelessly connect to the wireless firewall, or exposing your network to
