7. FAN REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
The section explains how to replace a FAN that is accommodated in the system cooling FAN
module. A FAN can be replaced while the system is in operation. Three units of FAN are ac-
commodated as follows. Note that the figure shows a DC-powered model as an example.

Note:
If cooling FAN is faulty, temperature in the system may rise, which might cause some serious damage
to system operations. For this reason, we recommend you to replace FAN at least every five years,
whether any failure is found or not.
7.1 Replacement Procedure
STEP 1 If a FAN is faulty, identify the FAN by using PCPro. When this is periodical FAN replacement,
this identification is not necessary.
STEP 2 Loosen the left side screw on the FAN module by using a Phillips screw driver.
