4.1 Port Functions

The

PD780208 Subseries units incorporate two input ports, 16 output ports, and 56 I/O ports. Figure 4-1 shows

the port configuration. Every port is capable of 1-bit and 8-bit manipulations and can carry out various control

operations. Besides port functions, the ports can also serve as on-chip hardware I/O pins.
