Connect the interface and power cables to the 5.25-inch device installed from one side of
the server.
See "CABLE CONNECTIONS" described later for details.
IMPORTANT:
The power relay cable is connected to the power
connector of the slim CD-ROM drive. Connect the power cable from
the power supply to the power relay cable.

Assemble the server.

If a SCSI device is installed, set the parameters including the transmission rate using the
BIOS utility of the SCSI controller.
Refer to the manual provided with the SCSI controller for details.
NOTE:
Depending on the SCSI cable, the number of connectors varies.
Connect the connector nearest to the end to the first disk, the next
connector to the second disk, and so on.

Install the device driver for the installed device.
Refer to the manual provided with the device for details.
Removal
The 5-inch file bay can be removed in the reverse order of the installation.
