Rebooting the AUI or Exciter
You can reset (reboot) the AUI or the exciter using the remote AUI
Reset
page. To view the AUI’s
Reboot
page (see Figure 2.83 ), select
Reboot
from the
System Settings
option.

• To reboot the AUI, click the
Reboot AUI
button. This will function with remote control
enabled or disabled. After the reboot delay, you must log in to the AUI again to reset the host
(see also Firmware Update on page 2-115 ).
• To reset the active exciter, click the
Reboot Active Exciter
button, if the button is available
(highlighted).
• To reset the standby exciter (for dual exciters), click the
Reboot Standby Exciter
button, if
the button is available (highlighted).
• Click
X
in the upper, right corner to close this page and return to the home page.
Note:
If the active exciter is rebooted, a brief interruption in transmitter operation will occur.
