Open the box and locate
OI404LF
, a card that specifies the system
Radio ID
number,
Network MAC
address and
Master Code
(see
page 7 for details) Keep this card handy during the installation pro-
cess,
but always store in a secure location
.
Hardware Installation Instructions
1.
Open box and remove all components from the Kit and place
on a clean table top. Ensure the
OI404LF
card is available.
After the installation process, place this card in a secure loca-
tion.
2.
Insert batteries and remove battery ribbons to power all battery
-
enabled devices. Place magnets next to the
ISEC
-
DW
-
XMITTERs
to make them appear to the system as
"closed" (see page 18 for magnet location). With the Kit 1

gently pry the two key tabs at
the bottom with a flathead screwdriver; connect the pre
-
stripped power adapter wires to the keypad power terminals,
observing polarity. The wire marked with a red "tube" connects
to the (+) red terminal (+12VDC).
3.
Separate the Hub housing: With a flat head screwdriver, push
in the two tabs at the bottom to unhook, then separate the two
parts of the housing.
4.
Inside the hub, place a 12V, 4AH or 5AH battery into its brack-
et, battery terminals closer to the rear of the Hub. Secure using
the Velcro strip. Connect flying leads to battery terminals "red
to red" and "black to black".
5.
Carefully align and re
-
join the front and rear Hub housing, thus
powering the unit. Verify that the bottom right green LED on
the Hub flashes for about 10 seconds.
6.
Wait at least 30 seconds until the "Cellular Signal Strength"
green LED (right side, second from top) flashes a signal
strength of 3 or higher.
7.
After selecting the Hub mounting location, remove the small
door at the rear of the Hub and connect the 16VAC transformer
wires (of desired length) to the bottom two screw terminals
(marked
16VAC
; no polarity).
Note:
The transformer is the
main power source and must be connected.
Temporarily unplug the 16VAC transformer, open the Hub en-
closure for 20 seconds to disconnect the battery, then snap the
Hub enclosure back together and insert the transformer back
into the wall outlet. This momentary removal of power allows
the Hub to measure its relative wireless noise level so that ac-
curate signal to noise levels for each transmitter can be deter-
mined.
IMPORTANT:
All wireless devices, including Z
-
Wave
devices, must be signal tested with all enclosure covers fully
closed, including the Hub.
Register the Hub, Purchase a Service Plan, and Down-
load Device and Central Station Data into the Hub
With the Hub powered, download the iBridge app with a PC, laptop
or smart device to register the Hub and purchase an iSecure Service
. The app will then provide a
means of downloading the preconfigured system device and central
station information into the Hub at

8.
Confirm keypad operation by arming and disarming the system
(use the default User Code
1 2 3
). Connect the Kit 3 touch
keypad to the customer's wireless router (turn to page 13 for
the step
-
by
-
step configuration instructions).
9.
With the system disarmed, test each transmitter (one at a time)
by removing and replacing its magnet and observing the result-
ing keypad display notification. Install two batteries (included)
in the PIR. Test the PIR by facing it towards a wall, or upside
down so that no motion is detected for at least 5 minutes. Trig-
ger the PIR by initiating motion at its face, observing the result-
ing keypad display of a faulted zone.
10.
After testing the operation of all system components, mount
each device in their desired location as detailed in this manual
(see the Table of Contents for each device). Install and
launch the iBridge smartphone app to confirm the signal
strength of each transmitter.
11.
Temporarily power keypad(s) and verify the keypad RF signal
strength in the desired mounting location before mounting to
the wall. With Kit 2 and Kit 3 keypads, route the power wires
from the power adapter to the keypad as desired, but do not
plug the adapter into the wall outlet until the keypad is fully
mounted. Route the power wires through the rear case center
hole and connect to the power terminals. Rejoin the keypad
back case by re
-
engaging the case tabs. Mount the rear
case using a level to ensure horizontal mounting. Mount the
PIR and the door window transmitters as per the installation
instructions.
