Adjusting the pressure on the media

This section explains how to adjust the pressure on the media.

Step 1: 

Check that the media loading lever is raised.

Step 2: 

Measure the thickness of the media you are loading with callipers.

Step 3: 

Open the left maintenance cover.

Step 4: 

Turn the pressure adjustment handle and adjust it so that it comes to the level 
measured in previous step.
