3.2.2 Loading roll media
Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings before handling the printer.

Refer to the User’s Guide of the Take-up system to know how to load roll media on the Drafstation Pro.

When using the RJ901 or RJ900, a paper basket can be used. When using the paper basket, set the
paper basket as described in: “Paper basket setting”.
•
When using the Drafstation Pro, a Take-up system can be used. For installing and using the Take-up
system, refer to the user’s guide of the Take-up system.
To load the roll media, follow the steps below.
Step 1 :
Switch ON the plotter.
Result:

· The plotter initializes.
o
· The operation panel displays “Paper End”.
Step 2 :
Press the [Back] key on the operation panel and select “Roll”. Result: The Roll media light lights
up.
Notes
•
If selecting ”sheet” on the operation panel when loading the roll media, the media will not be correctly
loaded.
Step 3 :
Push the media hold lever (1) backward as indicated on the image below.
