7.5 Gas System

7.5.1 Gas supply – Checking gas lines for leaks

Preconditions

☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

WARNING

Natural gas is combustible.

Risk of fire and explosion!

• Avoid open flames, electrical sparks and ignition sources.

• Do not smoke.

Gas supply – Checking gas lines for leaks

Coat all connections of the gas supply line with soap solution or spray with leakage detection spray from

a distance of 30 to 50 cm.

• Leaks are indicated by the formation of bubbles or foam.

Replace leaking parts.
