Cause
Corrective action
Crankcase pressure too high
(limit value 1). Restrictor valve in
crankcase breather is closed too
much, air filter is defective, oil
separator is clogged, piston rings
are seized, other damage to
crank drive.
1. Check crank drive:
• Crank engine (→ Page 133).
• Endoscope combustion chambers from bottom dead center to
top dead center.
2. Check air filter for contamination, replace if contamination is
visible (→ Page 153),
3. Check setting of BlowBy restrictor valve.
4. Check oil separator condition, replace if necessary
(→ Page 135).
