9. To re-order a preset, click the up and down arrows or click and drag the left edge of the preset
through the list.

Editing PTZ Tours
1. From the left menu pane, select
PTZ Tours
.
2. Click
Edit
beside the tour that you want to edit.
3. Make the changes you need.
4. To undo the changes that you’ve made, click
Discard Changes
.
5. Click
Apply
to save your changes.
6. To delete the tour, click
Delete Tour
. Click
OK
when the confirmation dialog box appears.
Defining PTZ Limits
Depending on where the PTZ camera is installed, you may want to limit the movement and zoom of the
camera so that obstructions are never in view. For example, if the PTZ camera is installed close to the side
of a building, you can set the limits so that the PTZ camera cannot move to show the wall it is installed
against.
Tip:
Features and options are disabled if they are not supported by the camera.
1. From the left menu pane, click
PTZ Limits
.
2. To limit the maximum movement range, you can do one of the following:

In the image panel, move the PTZ camera as far left as you want to display then click the
From
icon for the Pan Limit. Move the camera to the farthest point to the right and click the
To
icon. Repeat this procedure for the Tilt Limit, only move the camera up and down. For

Below the image panel, you can set the Pan and Tilt Limit by adjusting the position of the two
black dots on each circle. The gray area shows the set degree of movement. The Pan Limit
sets the horizontal movement range and the Tilt Limit sets the vertical movement range.
The blue arrow helps you identify where the camera is currently pointing.
3. To set the
Lens Zoom Limit
, enter a maximum zoom level. Enter a number between the available
range displayed on the right.
4. To set the
Preset Speed Limit
, enter a maximum number of degrees per second to limit the speed
that the camera is permitted to move to each preset location. Enter a number between the available
range displayed on the right.
