AGITO
45 - Operation
AGITO User Manual OS 5.0 Nova
BEFORE THE TRAX CALIBRATION HAS BEEN COMPLETED,
IT IS POSSIBLE TO RUN BEYOND THE PHYSICAL ENDS OF THE TRACK.
WHEN TURNING ON THE MASTER CONTROLLER BE CAREFUL NOT TO PRESS ANY BUTTON
OTHER THAN THE POWER SWITCH, SPECIFICALLY THE THROTTLE INPUT / PEDALS.
Setting up the AGITO to best suit your driving style and the requirements of the shot is essential. There are many user configurable software
options, that when combined with the hardware set-up will vary the drive dynamics / responsiveness. “Mode Settings (Trax Mode)” on

TRAX MODE: FIRST USE
When you use the system for the first time, it is highly recommended that the operator understands this manual and has time to experiment
and familiarise themselves with different configurations. Finding the set-up which makes the operator feel most “connected” to AGITO is
essential.
AGITO is shipped in a standard configuration, and this is how we generally teach operators who attend our training. Firmware settings
can be returned to default using the RESET command in the SYSTEM menu, “Mode Reset” on page 26. Ensuring that the hardware is in
a neutral state is also extremely important when setting up system.
Always ensure:
• MAG-Stop is correctly calibrated
• Stopping Distances have been tested
• Maximum speed is restricted to match the payload and any track curves in use
• Use Guide Wheels to ensure the system is safely attached to the track
• E-STOP is connected and close to the operator at ALL TIMES

TRAX MODE: MAG-STOP
MAG-Stop is an automatic feature designed to provide known stopping positions on track. When the MAG-Sense is fitted to the AGITO
and the Track Learn calibration has been completed (see “Trax Mode: Start up Connection & Calibration” on page 43), whenever the
MAG-sense passes over a MAG-Stop magnet the AGITO will automatically apply braking.
MAG-STOP OVERRIDE
If enabled within the menu, see “Control Mapping” on page 17, then switching the
Steering Mode switch to the CRAB position, far right clockwise, the AGITO will ignore
the MAG-Stop feature until this switch is rotated anti-clockwise back to either 2-Wheel or
4-Wheel.
The MAG-STOP feature can also be fully disabled in the Trax Mode menu, see “Control
Mapping” on page 17
