DRIVE DYNAMICS: SPORTS MODE
Setting up the AGITO to best suit your driving style and the requirements of the shot is essential. There are many user configurable software
options, that when combined with the hardware set-up will vary the drive dynamics / responsiveness, see “Mode Settings (Sports Mode)”
on page 22

SPORTS MODE: FIRST USE
WHEN YOU USE THE SYSTEM FOR THE FIRST TIME, IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT
THE OPERATOR UNDERSTANDS THIS MANUAL AND HAS TIME TO EXPERIMENT AND
FAMILIARISE THEMSELVES WITH DIFFERENT CONFIGURATIONS. FINDING THE SET-UP WHICH
MAKES THE OPERATOR FEEL MOST “CONNECTED” TO AGITO IS ESSENTIAL.
AGITO is shipped in a standard configuration, and this is how we generally teach operators who attend our training. Firmware settings
can be returned to default using the RESET command in the SYSTEM menu. Ensuring that the hardware is in a neutral state is also extremely
important when setting up the AGITO.
Always ensure:
•
Tracking / wheel alignment is straight
•
Suspension is neutral
•
Kick-up is neutral

SPORTS MODE: WHEEL TRACKING
Once the system has calibrated, we recommend checking that the chassis drives in a straight line.
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE SUSPENSION HAS BEEN CORRECTLY SET PRIOR TO ADJUSTING WHEEL TRACKING
First check that “Swap Ends on Reverse” and “Invert Steering on Reverse” are both set to Default (No). Set the steering mode to “2-wheel”.
This means that the chassis will essentially drive like a regular car and maintains the “front end”
Driving the AGITO along a 5-meter line will confirm that the alignment is correct, if the system does not follow the line check the mechanical
tracking of the “front end”. Now reverse the AGITO back along the line, if the chassis does not follow the line accurately then double check
