The primary station starts a data request frame for station 1
(secondary station 1) in response to a rising edge at the
“strobe” function block input at the primary station.

The primary station ends the request frame.

Station 1 (secondary station 1) starts the response frame and
sends data to the primary station.

The secondary station ends the data transmission.

The primary station starts a data request frame for station 2
(secondary station 2) in response to a rising edge at the
“strobe” function block input at the primary station.

Station 2 (secondary station 2) starts the response frame and
sends data to the primary station.

The secondary station ends the data transmission.

Another data frame for station 1 is started in response to a
further rising edge at the “strobe” input.
The data transmission described above takes place in step
mode between the primary station and the programmed
secondary station in response to each rising edge at the
“strobe” input. Stations 3 and 4 are not polled because they
were assigned address “0”.
