Universal Function Blocks

Services

The function blocks provide services for exchanging data 
between individual telecontrol stations. The blocks are 
activated by transferring the appropriate code to the 
“command” input of the function blocks and by a signal at 
the “strobe” input.

Service 10: Send fixed length frame RAM data

When this service is called, “fixed_length” data bytes are 
transferred in a fixed length frame from the RAM send data 
array “requested_station” at the primary station to the RAM 
receive data array at the secondary station.
