Make sure that all required radiation safety procedures are complied with
before proceeding.
5. Remind the patient not to move.

. The scan acquisition will begin.
The acquisition will take 20 seconds or less.
The overhead gantry will rotate around the patient and a series of X-ray images will be
acquired.
While the X-ray source is turned on, the system will make a chirping sound.
When the scan is complete, the overhead gantry will rewind to its original position.
Warning:
To stop the scanner in case of an emergency, press the
Emergency Stop (E-
Stop)
button.
7. Reconstruction will begin automatically. This takes approximately one minute.
Note:
A timer will inform the user when the next acquisition can be performed. Sequential
acquisitions must be at least 10 minutes apart.
