5. Place a second 30 mm Water Module over the first.
6. Acquire a Scout for T Bone 20s (600). Label this scan “
Contrast Scan 2
” as well.
7. Remove one 30 mm Water Module so one is still in place.
8. Acquire a Scout for T Bone 20s (600). Label this scan “
Contrast Scan 3.
”
9. Remove the remaining 30 mm Water Module.
10. Acquire a Scout for Sinus 20s (600), Sinus 10s (300), Sinus 10s (150). Label these scans
“
Contrast Scan 3"
as well.
11. Open a scout view of one of the sinus scans.
12. Select Show Ruler from the Toolbox. Zoom in to align the edges of the Scout with the ruler
tick marks.
13. Open the Study Details and note the Central slice [pixel] value.
14. Using the Distance Tool, draw a horizontal line across the scout Y value that matches the
Central slice [pixel] value.
15. Using the Distance Tool, draw a vertical line centered horizontally across the scout.
16. Create a circular region of 100 mm
2
(± 20 mm
2
) centered at the crosshairs.
