Remove the printer cable and the serial cable (if used) from the rear
panel of the pycnometer.

Remove the rear panel by removing the retaining screws that hold the
panel in place.

Lift the side panels at the rear of the pycnometer and rotate forward.
The cover should lock in an upright position as shown below.

Remove the two screws that secure the gas inlet entrance assembly.
