Inspect and lubricate
Every 200 hours of operation or at
re‑build.
Lower Gear Housing Oil Filter and Oil ‑
Change the oil and filter.
Every 200 hours of operation or once
a year, whichever occurs first.

Maintenance Items.
Transom Input Shaft Bearing Housing
(Driveline Models Only) ‑ Change the oil.
Checking Fluid Levels
CHECKING ENGINE OIL (RESERVOIR)
Oil consumption is greatly dependant upon engine speed, with
consumption being highest at wide‑open‑throttle and decreasing
substantially as engine speed is reduced. It is not uncommon for
big block high performance engines to use up to one quart of oil in
one to five hours if the engine is operated continuously at the upper
end of the RPM range.
