The wear patterns on the front and rear wheels
differ:

Front wheels wear more on the shoulder of
the tire.

Rear wheels wear more in the center of the
tire.
On vehicles that have the same size front and
rear wheels, interchange the wheels according
to the intervals in the tire manufacturer's war‐
ranty book in your vehicle documents. If this is
not available, interchange the tires every
3000 to 6000 miles (5000 to 10000 km),
depending on the wear. Ensure that the direction
of rotation is maintained.
It is imperative to observe the instructions and
safety notes on "Wheel change" when doing so.
Notes on storing wheels

After removing wheels, store them in a cool,
dry and preferably dark place.

Protect the tires from contact with oil, grease
or fuel.

performing a wheel change on your vehicle, con‐
