Vehicles with Adaptive Highbeam Assist:
Turn the light switch to the
L
position.
R
Press the combination switch beyond the
pressure point in the direction of
arrow

When high beam is activated, the indicator lamp
for low beam is deactivated and replaced by the
indicator lamp for high beam.

To switch off high beam: move the combi‐
nation switch back to its starting position.
#
To indicate briefly: press the combination
switch briefly up to the pressure point in the
direction of arrow

The corresponding turn signal light flashes
three times.

To indicate permanently: press the combi‐
nation switch beyond the pressure point in
the direction of arrow

Cornering light
Cornering light function
Cornering light improves the illumination of the
road over a wide angle in the turning direction,
enabling better visibility in tight bends, for exam‐
ple. It can only be activated when low beam is
switched on.
The function is active:
R
At speeds below 25 mph (40 km/h) when
the turn signal light is switched on or the
steering wheel is turned.
