Use this page to specify the type of installation.

Standard Setup
installation has fewer steps and is intended for Transparent Bridge mode.

Custom Setup
installation allows you to select the operating mode.

Restore from a File
installation allows you to set up the appliance using the configuration details saved
from another appliance. You can choose which details you need. If the file came from an earlier
version of the software, some details are not available.

ePO Managed Setup
installation allows you to configure only the settings that you need if you plan to
have your appliance managed by McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator.
The appliance operates in one of the following modes — Transparent Bridge, Transparent Router, or
Explicit Proxy. The mode affects how you integrate the appliance into your network and how the
appliance handles traffic. You will need to change the mode only if you restructure your network.

has intercepted and scanned the email before forwarding it. The appliance's operation is
