Option

Retention Limits
Use this area to set the limits on the maximum time or number of items retained
within the database. The limits differ depending on your model of hardware and the
size of the appliance hard disk.
Event Options
Events are defined as items contained in the reporting database, and items identified
using Message Search (quarantined messages, blocked messages, delivered messages,
and bounced messages). Use this area to define the events that are stored in the
database.
External Access
Use this area to configure your appliance to allow an off box SQL database access to
the appliance reporting database to view information about email and web detections,
and configuration change events.
Maintenance
Use this area to configure the frequency of database maintenance tasks, and to
manually trigger these tasks.
Retention Limits
Use this area to set the limits on the maximum time or number of reporting or message items
retained within the database.
