1 - CHASSIS-MOUNTED FRONT TRAILER HOOK

This hook must be used only to tow the telehandler in the event of a fault.

Pay attention to the risk of pinching or crushing during this operation.
Do not forget to put pin back in place.
When released, ensure that the trailer stands on its own.
COUPLING AND UNCOUPLING THE TRAILER
-To hook the trailer, bring the telehandler as near as possible to the trailer ring.
-Put the handbrake on and switch off the I.C. engine.
-Remove split pin 1, lift tow pin 2 and position or remove the ring of the trailer.
2 - TOW HOOK

COUPLING AND UNCOUPLING THE TRAILER
-To hook the trailer, bring the telehandler as near as possible to the trailer ring.
-Put the handbrake on and switch off the I.C. engine.
-Remove split pin 1, lift tow pin 2 and position or remove the ring of the trailer.
3 - AUTOMATIC TOWING HOOK (OPTIONAL)

When released, ensure that the trailer stands on its own.
COUPLING THE TRAILER
- Remove the automatic towing pin using lever 1.
- Move the lift truck backwards so that the trailer ring slots into the
automatic hook.
NOTE: The pin closes automatically when the trailer ring touches the end
of the yoke.
The pin can be lowered by hand using lever 1.
UNCOUPLING THE TRAILER
- Lift the pin using lever 1 to uncouple the trailer.
4 - TOWING HOOK ON COUPLING LADDER (OPTIONAL)

When released, ensure that the trailer stands on its own.
-Position the lift truck as near as possible to the trailer ring.
-Apply the handbrake and switch off the engine.
ADUSTING THE TOWING HOOK
-Lift handle 1 and turn it upward to release pins 2 on each side of the ladder.
-Support the towing hook and position it according to the height of the trailer ring.
-Turn handle 1 downward to insert pins 2 into the ladder and release the handle.
COUPLING AND UNCOUPLING THE TRAILER
-Remove towing pin 3 and position or remove the ring of the trailer.
-Refit towing pin 3 and ensure it is blocked.
