REPLACE Dry air filter cartridge
In case of use in very dusty environments, reduce the cartridge replacement frequency
(up to 250 hours in very dusty environments).

IMPORTANT
t
Replace the cartridge in a clean environment and with the I.C. engine switched off.
Never operate the telehandler without the air filter or with the air filter damaged.
If the air filter clogging indicator light comes on, replace the cartridge as quickly as possible
(maximum 1 hour).
-Open the engine bonnet.
-Free the blocks and remove the cover 1.
-Carefully rotate the cartridge 2 forwards, to reduce dust leakage as far as possible.
-Do not remove the safety cartridge.
-Carefully clean the following parts with a wet clean cloth that does not leave lint.
• The inside of the filter and cover.
• The inside of the filter inlet piping.
• The seats of the gaskets in the filter and cover.
-Check the state and fixing of the connecting pipe to the I.C. engine, and the
connection and the conditions of the filter clogging indicator.
-Before the assembly, check the state of the new filter cartridge (

: 3 - MAINTENANCE:
FILTER ELEMENTS AND BELTS).
-Incline the cartridge forwards by about 5°, insert it in the filter and position it by
pressing on the edge of the cartridge and not in the centre.
-Refit the cover and check to make sure the clips are secured correctly. It must be
possible to install the cover easily; if necessary, check the correct positioning of the filter cartridge.

REPLACE Ventilation circuit in the I.C. engine guard
-Open the engine bonnet.
-Wipe the outside of the filter as well as its support thoroughly to prevent dust from
penetrating the system.
-Unscrew filter 1 and dispose of it together with its gasket.
-Lightly lubricate the new seals with clean engine oil and refit a new filter (

MAINTENANCE: FILTER ELEMENTS AND BELTS).
-Retighten the filter on its support (tightening torque 10 N.m).
REPLACE Front wheel reducer oil
REPLACE Rear wheel reducer oil
Place the lift truck on level ground with the I.C. engine off and gear oil still warm.

Dispose of the drain oil in an ecological manner.
-Empty and change oil for each final drive of the wheels.
-Place the drain plug 1 in position A.
-Place a container under the drain plug and unscrew the plug.
-Let oil drain completely.
-Bring the drain hole to position B, i.e. the level hole position.
-Fill up with oil (
e
LUBRICANTS AND FUEL) through level 1 filler port.
-The level is correct when the oil reaches the hole.
-Fit the drain plug back on and tighten it (tightening torque: 34 to 49 Nm).
