INTRODUCTION
-Your telehandler must be provided with an interchangeable equipment. This interchangeable equipment is called
ATTACHMENT.
-A wide range of attachments is available, designed to perfectly adapt to your telehandler and guaranteed by MANITOU.
d
IMPORTANT
d
Only attachments approved by MANITOU can be used with the lift trucks
(see: 4 - OPTIONAL ATTACHMENTS FOR USE WITH THE RANGE: ATTACHMENT CHARACTERISTICS).
The manufacturer will have no liability in case of modifications or adaptations of the attachments without his knowledge.
-The attachments are supplied with a load chart relating to your telehandler. The user manual and the load chart must
be kept on the telehandler. The use of standard attachments is subject to the instructions contained in this manual.
d
IMPORTANT
d
The maximum loads are defined by the capacity of the telehandler taking into account the weight and the centre of gravity of the attachment.
If the capacity of the attachment is below the capacity of the telehandler, never exceed this limit.
-Some specific uses require the attachment to be adapted as it may not be included in the optional catalogue. Other
solutions are available: for more information, please contact your dealer.
d
IMPORTANT
d
Due to their size, when the boom is lowered and retracted some attachments may interfere with the front tyres and damage them if the carriage is tilted downward.
IN ORDER TO AVOID THIS RISK, EXTEND THE BOOM FAR ENOUGH TO ELIMINATE ANY INTERFERENCE (THE DISTANCE WILL DEPEND ON THE TELEHANDLER AND THE
ATTACHMENT).
SUSPENDED LOAD
d
IMPORTANT
d
A suspended load must COMPULSORILY handled with a telehandler suitable for that purpose
(see: 1 - SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND OBLIGATIONS: INSTRUCTIONS FOR HANDLING LOADS: H - PICKING UP AND PLACING A SUSPENDED LOAD).
